The Happiness Patrol Episode Ten: Toby and Tom...WOW!

Moths ate my Doctor Who Scarf...well, not my scarf, but Toby Hadoke's. And, he wrote a play about it. And, it just so happens that Toby Hadoke paid us a nice visit here on The Happiness Patrol to talk about his play and all things Doctor Who. Plus, Tom Baker just celebrated a birthday on the 20th of January...76, I believe, although in the podcast I keep saying 75. Oh well, if you want good math skills, I'm sure there is a Podcast for that, but THIS ain't it! Also, we have a new 'Pick Of The Week' list, K9 drops by to say hello, and black helicopters buzz Lela's place for no apparent reason. So sit back, relax, and listen to Dale, Lewis, Lela and Tara as they welcome Doctor Who EXPERT Toby Hadoke!

The Happiness Patrol Episode Nine: Time Zone?? What Time Zone?!?

Welcome to Episode Nine of The Happiness Patrol! Spanning four different Time Zones and two continents we start with a very special report from our own Tara W. (seen below riding pig) from misty Seattle Washington! Tara had a chance to check out The Science Fiction Museum and gives The Happiness Patrol the low down!
While in Seattle, Tara also found this on the side of a Toyota belonging to a Mr. David Miller.

PLUS, have you ever wondered if Sci-Fi was better in the UK or the US??? Well, we here at the Patrol tackle that hefty subject with surprising results.

So sit back, relax and get ready to warp into action as Lela, Tara, Lewis and Dale try to find out if 'Quark' is better than 'Metal Micky'!
OH, and by the way, the total run time on this episode is a record breaking 1 hour 19 minutes! PERFECT for that work commute!

The Happiness Patrol Episode Seven: The End Of Time, Part 2 Review

The Happiness Patrol takes an in depth look at Doctor Who: The End of Time Part 2.
Along the way, we wish Lela a Happy Birthday and say hello to Tara's guest Elizabeth.
Saying farewell to David Tennant was hard, but seeing our first glimpse of Matt Smith took the sting out abit!

Episode Seven: The End Of Time part 2 Review

The Happiness Patrol Wishes Team Member Lela S. a HAPPY 18th Birthday!!

If you listen to The Happiness Patrol, you might notice a young voice chiming in every so often with an insightful comment here and there...a voice that balances out the ZANINESS of Dale, the EXCITEMENT of Tara and the DUMBFOUNDING of Lewis.
That voice belongs to Lela S. And on New Year's Day, she regenerated along with The Doctor!
So we here at The Happiness Patrol wanted to take time out and wish our youngest member a very happy birthday!
Lela brings to the table a sense of newness to Doctor Who Fandom...Lela is the direction of new WHO fans since Russell T. Davies brought back the show in 2005. It's always nice to get her opinion and views and have her juxtaposed to old Who fans like the Dale Lewis and Tara!
It's also nice because she puts up with old farts like us! :)
So Happy Birthday Lela! From your fellow Patrolers!
Here's a few photos from Lela's birthday cake adventure that went horribly wrong.
(background info: A TARDIS shaped cake was planned, but, somehow didn't quite make it!)

Lela's Mom Teri looking sad at her MAD baking skills gone south!

Lela doesn't seem to mind! HAPPINESS WILL PREVAIL!!

And, what the Hell...cakes are
for eating....right???
